About PURR CAT CAFE
PURR CAT CAFE is an other place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is listed at 2646 Orthodox St, Philadelphia, PA 19137, which places it among the local businesses of Philadelphia that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Places that do not fit a cafe, bakery, tea, breakfast or nearby-store category land here: tourist attractions, parks and museums with a cafe on site, and unrelated businesses that came in through an import or a Google Maps match. Attraction cafes usually keep the venue's hours and may require admission to reach, so check before making the trip; park kiosks and museum coffee counters are often seasonal. Other listings are kept so that an old address or phone number still resolves and can be re-filed into the right category later.
The business lists hours on 4 days of the week. Typical hours are 12–6 pm. It is closed on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file. More information is available on its website, purrphilly.com.
On Google it holds a rating of 5.0 out of 5 from 55 reviews, which is a strong result for an other place in Philadelphia and suggests consistent service.
Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Philadelphia peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I got both of my cats for PURR and I couldn’t recommend them more !! 😸😸😸 Wow, the work they do here is incredible. The adoption experience was so smooth and they obviously care so much for their cats. Please come out and support if you haven’t already.

Too much to rave/compliment about right now; Will come back later to leave details! But an awesome place, great price especially on Mondays. I'd even go on the weekend to support the cause! So calming and relaxing in our anxious, fast-paced lives these days. It was definitely a great mental break plus you feel good about giving them attention, supporting the cause. Cats are so well taken care of! The place is so cute and cozy. Cats are not overwhelming at all, even when you take out treats. Great choice of snacks/drinks! Nice staff/owners. Great intro. Has kitchen & bathroom and hand sanitizer everywhere to disinfect haha. Very clean; no litter on the floors like you might expect lol. Definitely recommend and would return! My mom and I loved it. Saw another family (dad and kids) have a great time and then later a group of teenagers loving it too. We need more people and places like this! People who care and act. Thank you for everything you guys do for the forgotten, abandoned kitties.

Lovely cats, lovely staff. You can tell just how much the owner and volunteers care for them. I wish nothing but the best for them and these precious creatures.

had a wonderful experience coming here for the first time :D very reasonable price to hang with so many awesome cats. the staff was incredibly nice and knowledgeable along with the volunteer who was in there during our hour. we didn't check out the kitchen, but were told that there were complementary drinks and little snacks for us if we wanted. there was a main area with the adult cats, and a kitten room as well. both were very nice and we had a great time hanging with all of them. we will absolutely be back, especially to check out the music bingo event i saw when booking our hour at the cat cafe. thank you so much for providing homes for so many wonderful cats :3

An absolutely unforgettable experience. You can feel how deeply loved and well cared for the cats are the moment you walk in. The girls there made us feel completely at home, and every cat had its own sweet personality shining through. We left already talking about adoption, it’s just a matter of making more room for one of these angels. If you’re even thinking about going, do it. This place is truly a cat lover’s heaven. 🐾💛
